Pro: prices, service, sea food Grow: presentation. Tip: they accept card or cash Tucked in the city of Lynwood CA, Mariscos el paisa has great reviews on google but not too many on Yelp so I decided to check it out. They have their own parking lot and you order at the window once you arrive. The seating is outdoor so it can get a bit chilly. The music and vibes were fun, service was great! Food: let's start with my favorite, the agua Chile was just the perfect balance of spice and flavor. It comes with about 4 tostadas and I wish they put a bit more effort in the presentation (I arranged it nicely for this photo). The costa azul shrimp AKA camarones a La Momia are wrapped in bacon and accompanied by French fries. I would recommend ordering both as the acid in the Aguachile go well with the richness of the momia. The fish tacos were tasty but my least favorite as they are about $4 and did not have much meat inside. Overall, this sea food spot is serving many tasty dishes at a good price. I will definitely be coming back when I'm the area.
Favorite place for ceviche de camaron! The service is good.. I usually order over the phone but today I ordered through yelp. I felt like it was easier because I waited like 2 minutes & just picked up. The atmosphere is chill, your usual Mariscos spot. I know it can get busy on summer or hot days, I usually take it home.
